Start with the phone app, bring in the people and calendars that shape your week, then pair a display everyone at home can use.
Already have a display? Set up the app first, then continue to display pairing.

Pair the display
Connect Wi-Fi, scan the QR code, and bring Kora into the room.
Setting up a new display? Let it update first.
After the first plug-in, give Kora a few minutes to download updates and restart. Wait until the QR sign-in screen is stable before pairing.

Start on your phone
Download Kora and create the family account.
The phone app is where you create your account, manage your family, connect calendars, and authorize a Kora display.
- Install Kora from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app and choose “Sign up.”
- Create the account your household will use with Kora.
- Complete the first prompts before signing in on a display.
Current family sign-in
Kora currently uses one shared family account. Family members using the phone app should sign in with the same email and password. Individual account invitations are planned for a future update.

Make the view useful
Give every person a place in the plan.
Create a profile for each person so events, chores, rewards, and reminders appear with the right name and color.
- Open Profiles in the Kora app.
- Tap + to add a family member.
- Add their name, details, and an optional photo.
- Repeat for everyone whose week should appear in Kora.
Changes made in the app sync to the display, keeping the shared home view current without setting everything up twice.

Bring the week together
Connect the calendars your family already uses.
Connect each calendar to the matching family profile. Kora combines them into one readable view while preserving who each event belongs to.
Google Calendar
Connect with Google Sign-In
- Open Profiles and select a person.
- Choose Google in calendar setup.
- Sign in and grant calendar access.
- Select the calendars to sync.
Apple, TeamSnap, and ICS
Connect with an iCal feed
- Select the matching family profile.
- Open Manage Calendar Feeds.
- Paste the ICS or webcal link.
- Allow up to 15 minutes for the first sync.
How to find an Apple Calendar link
- Open Calendar on iPhone or iPad and tap Calendars.
- Tap the information button beside the calendar.
- Enable Public Calendar, then tap Share Link.
- Copy the webcal link and paste it into Kora.
Good to know
Calendar feeds are currently one-way and refresh about every 15 minutes. Google uses secure sign-in; Apple and other supported services use an ICS feed.

Bring Kora into the room
Connect Wi-Fi, then pair with a QR code.
Connect Wi-Fi
- Plug in the display and let updates finish.
- Open Settings from the device home screen.
- Choose Network & Internet, then Wi-Fi.
- Connect to your home network and reopen Kora.
Pair the display
- Sign in to the Kora app on your phone.
- Open the QR sign-in screen on the display.
- Scan the code using the in-app pairing flow.
- Confirm the display joins your family account.
Once paired, the display mirrors your family’s profiles, calendars, chores, lists, and updates. It stays available in the room so kids can check and use the plan without borrowing your phone.

Make it part of the week
Add what matters. Let Kora handle the organizing.
Use the app or display to add events, chores, rewards, lists, and meals. You can tap through the interface or speak naturally to Kora.

Kora Pulse also brings forward useful reminders—like school updates, schedule conflicts, and unfinished tasks—before they disappear into the noise of the week.
